Your suite of rooms
As Slippers only accepts single party bookings, you will have a suite of several rooms for your exclusive use. Your suite includes two bedrooms, a king (which can be converted to a twin) and a single. Your lounge is a large room flowing onto a private balcony, and is appointed with full service cable TV, VCR and DVD, radio and CD player. Central heating ensures a cosy atmosphere in all rooms.
Twinings teas, superb Papua New Guinea and decaffeinated plunger coffee, and hot chocolate are available at all times. Fresh baked biscuits and a seasonal fruit bowl are replenished daily.
Your bedrooms have down duvets, and electric blankets; and in your wardrobes you will find bathrobes and slippers for your use during your stay. The king bedroom opens onto a private patio, ideal to settle back with a book from our extensive library, or to enjoy your coffee as you drink in the view. A private path, lit at night takes you from your car park to your rooms. Your shower room features in floor heating, heated towel rails, hair dryers, and a full range of hand made "Blue Earth" toiletries.
While you are our guests, enjoy our collection of rare, antique maps and museum quality primitive art and artifacts from Papua New Guinea.
A private continental breakfast may be served in your lounge, if that is your preference, but we look forward to sharing our dining room for a lengthy full breakfast as you plan the activities of your day.
Guests interested in photography may use the chemical darkroom, or our digital facilities. We will download your cards to CDs if requested. Advice is offered as to special photographic opportunities, and introductions can be arranged to local like minded societies and photographers.
